Luxury Homes:
date: April 2012
The Luxury Homes Northern Colorado site was fun because I simply like designing with good photography. Shots of homes are
typically beautiful and easy to work with. This is a solid layout with small details and a finished product I would visit.
Kabco Group:
date: March 2012
This site was designed somewhat blind using only a logo and a few business points. By basing the colors on the logo and finding
a couple of simple lifestyle photos, I was able to create an aesthetic and professional home page using very little content.
Pure Timber:
date: March 2012
The Pure Timber site was difficult because the company wanted to focus on their one-of-a-kind wood bending technique, but had
little photography to use reflecting that. I like the simple colors and high contrast in this design.
Hose Candy:
date: March 2012
Hose Candy deals in custom hoses for high performance vehicles and showcars. They had beautiful photos and a ton of them. This
was a big undertaking design-wise but I am happy with how it came out.
Vulture Terrain:
date: April 2012
The Vulture Terrain Vehicles site was one of my very favorite projects and will probably be transferred to that area of the site
eventually. They loved the initial concept immediately and wanted nothing revised through the entire design process. A great logo, and
good photography fell into this theme very well.
Exclamations:
date: May 2012
The Exclamations gifts site design was pretty involved for a standard project. Though not a huge fan of the choices, I worked
hard on making the best of this design, and don't mind showing it here. Everyone has their own taste, I simply worked hard on this
project.
Bonehead Outfitters:
date: April 2012
Bonehead Outfitters provided an intricate logo and some intense shirt designs, looking for a professional layout with their
brand's edge. This mixture made for a fun and interesting design.
Shortzilla:
date: March 2012
I typically prefer informational sites to e-commerce sites. They allow for more freedom and definitely can be more interesting.
The Shortzilla site had a decent logo and little other direction, which made for a good looking finish.
Scissor King:
date: March 2012
The Scissor King Design has great colors set on a dark background. I like the photo choices, and this client did eventually
upgrade this logo to a better one. Not my personal favorite site, but an interesting one to work on.
The Union Shop:
date: March 2012
The Union Shop website was a somewhat experimental design that managed to really appeal to the client. Darker sites can pose
many challenges, but I have enjoyed this specific design for numerous reasons.
